Dolphin and Monkey Sail Adventure

Come on a lowcountry water safari…

Explore the vast and pristine marine wilderness area north of Beaufort and Saint Helena Island known as the Saint Helena Sound and ACE Basin, a 350,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge. This represents one of the largest undeveloped wetland ecosystems remaining on the Atlantic Coast.

The area is home to an abundance of wildlife, including many species of resident and migratory birds, marine reptiles like the American alligator and sea turtles, marine mammals such as river otters and Bottlenose Dolphins, and then there's Morgan Island with its several thousand Rhesus Monkeys.

If you’re wondering why there’s Monkeys in SC, check out this video to learn more.

Here is a link to a video to learn more about the unique natural treasure that is the ACE Basin.

We can’t guarantee that we’ll see Dolphins and Monkeys on every trip, but we usually do, and we can guarantee that you’ll see some of the many species of diverse and fascinating wildlife that call this beautiful ecosystem home.
